European Cruise Line Reviews - Silversea
While most of us would be absolutely over the moon just to be able to take a European cruise there are many experienced cruisers who’ve become a bit more selective. These seasoned travelers have had the benefit of sailing with a number of different cruise lines, and have ultimately decided that luxury and exclusivity are worth any price premium they may have to pay. These people are in the demographic that Silversea caters to.
Silversea sets itself apart from its competitors in several ways, but first and foremost is their incredible all inclusive cruise packages. Perhaps more than any company in the industry they offer vacation packages that have every conceivable option included in the price. When you lay down your credit card to book your cruise you can rest easy that all alcoholic beverages, gratuities and even port charges will be taken care of. This makes it dead simple to budget for your vacation without worrying about all the little nickel and dime charges that usually add up over the course of a vacation. This is an important consideration to take into account when comparison shopping. You might get a bit of sticker shock when you see what Silversea is charging, but it can actually be a pretty good deal if you plan to take advantage of most of the all inclusive options they offer.
The price premium isn’t just due to the all inclusive options, however. Silversea stands among the best ultra luxury cruise lines in the business. They offer personalized voyages where passengers can choose their own embarkation and disembarkation points, truly astounding flexibility. By the end of 2009 they will offer high end butler service to all their suites
In December Silversea will launch the biggest ship in its fleet, the 540 passenger Silver Spirit. This flagship will be comprised entirely of suites, and offer the very finest in luxury, amenities and cuisine.
Obviously, Silversea Cruise Lines caters to a niche market, and not every traveler will be able to afford to book passage with them. However, if you have the means, and you desire some serious pampering on your next vacation then you’d do well to consider booking with this luxury cruise line.
