France Shore Excursions – See Saint Tropez by Minivan
Got a taste for the finer things in life? Want to see how the truly wealthy live? Check out a private day trip from Cannes and Nice by minivan.
You’ll arrive at the Port of Saint Tropez after a scenic tour through the breathtaking Maure Forest. Upon arrival you’ll climb the steps to the ancient Medieval village. Got a passion for history? Take a tour of the Citadel’s Naval Museum, or wander through the Annociade Museum. For those who just want to people watch, you can hang out in one of the terrace cafes, or explore down by the bay where a fleet of ridiculously expensive luxury yachts are moored.
As part of your shore excursion you’ll also enjoy a visit to Port Grimaud, where you will be enchanted by its series of bridges and canals. Little wonder this spot is known as Little Venice.
Come at the right time of year (summer months) and you will also have the opportunity to take a wonderful (sadly short) sailing tour across the bay of St. Tropez.
On the return to your ship you will take a different route that will afford you views of the spectacular coastline with such highlights as the Golden Corniche, St. Maxine, and St. Raphael.
Reasonably priced, and filled with breathtaking scenery, this shore excursion is one that you should definitely consider when cruising this region of France.
